Custom Domain Email Configuration Services
1 Scope of Service: The Designer BCD Web Design agrees to perform a one-time technical setup of domain-based email addresses (e.g., info@clientdomain.com) via a third-party email provider Zoho Mail, as specified in the project proposal. This setup strictly covers domain verification, MX routing configuration, and fundamental email authentication records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) within the Domain Name System (DNS).
2 Client Responsibilities: The Client is solely responsible for creating their primary business account with the third-party email vendor, accepting the vendor’s terms of service, and providing valid, direct payment information to said vendor for ongoing monthly or annual license fees.
3 Exclusions and Support Boundaries: The Designer does not provide email inbox hosting or long-term email technical support. Following successful project handoff and verification of working email transmission, any subsequent issues regarding password resets, local device synchronization (e.g., syncing cell phones or desktop software), mailbox storage limits, or third-party server outages are entirely excluded from this agreement. Such issues must be directed to the third-party email platform’s official support channels.
4. Scope of Support & Technical Boundaries: To maintain a high level of operational security, please review the technical support guidelines established in our initial web design agreement:
- What is Included: bcd web design provides a lifetime guarantee on the underlying domain routing and DNS records we configured. If your core domain mapping fails, we fix it immediately.
- What is Excluded: We do not provide day-to-day IT support. Password resets, local device synchronization issues (e.g., configuring third-party native apps like Outlook or Apple Mail), or internal user account creations are managed directly by your team or through Zoho’s Official Technical Support.
What this means for you: “To protect your business security and data ownership, you will hold the master keys and pay Zoho directly for your licenses. I will act as your Technical Administrator to configure the secure connections, so you don’t have to deal with any of the code or DNS settings.”
Note: BCD Web Design does not maintain or view your private payment methods. This relationship is strictly between your business and Zoho.
